Elevator inspectors should focus on elevators, not spending time on mounds of paperwork.

projectQEI is a database web application that collects, stores, and distributes inspection reports fast and easily.

It’s made by an elevator inspector, for elevator inspectors.

pQEI is available on the iPad or iPhone using a native app and internet connection (WiFi, 4g LTE, 3g, etc). Of course you can also connect to pQEI with a PC or Mac computer using Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, or Firefox. Other than a web browser and a free iPad app, no software is required.

Elevator inspections? There’s an app for that.

pQEI is accessible from anywhere in the world. Your inspection data in its entirety (reports, signatures, and all) is stored safely and securely in the cloud, not on your iPad.

Real-time data streaming means what you see on your iPad is what everyone else logged into your database sees... no matter what device they use.

No need to bring your device to your office to sync.
It’s already on the cloud

reports built fast while you inspect

Inputting inspection data shouldn’t take up a lot of your time. With pQEI and its simple and intuitive layout, data input is fast and easy. Signatures are captured quickly by signing directly onto the iPad with a finger or capacitive stylus. Violations complete with references are a quick keyword search away. And when you’re done with your inspection, the report is completely filled out and ready to go - signatures and all.

When you’re done, it’s done.

We know you’ll love pQEI. So after the initial contract period (1 year), we operate on a month-to-month basis. If you want to cancel, send us an email and we will part ways at the end of the current 30-day period. You can also switch over to the Pay-as-you go Plan and we will host your data for the minimum $20/mo for as long as you’d like.

*Month-to-month starts after initial contract period (1 year). Long term contracts available upon request.

Get out of here, commitment.

no auto-renewing, long-term contracts
send to ahj, email, fax - straight from your iPad

With the tap of a button on your iPad, pQEI emails inspection reports in a pdf format to customers, maintenance companies, and whoever else you desire. You can even fax reports directly from the iPad.

Most AHJs accept electronic submissions or faxes.

Pop Quiz

inspector’s tools
  1. 1. What is the A17.1 2007 Type B safety slide requirements for a 400 fpm car?

  1. 2. What is 20 bar in psi?

  1. 3. If you have a hydraulic elevator with a 2500 lb empty car weight, 2000 lb capacity, 4.0” diameter plunger, and 27 feet of run - what is the estimated working pressure?

We know that not all elevator inspectors have photographic memories and may need some reference or a calculator from time to time - so we built that stuff in. Answer the questions above and more with the reference section and strategically placed “quickref” boxes scattered throughout the program which automatically display the correct numbers based off of code requirements and the parameters of the elevator.

A17.2 checklists for traction and hydraulic elevators and escalators are built in as well. You also have the option of having a custom checklist where you define your own items.

One last thing - we built in charts to help you analyze your inspection data. Get a bird’s-eye view of how many inspections you’ve done in each month of the year, the maintenance company you work with most (and least), and run the numbers on the types of inspections you perform.

training

projectQEI is designed to be pretty intuitive. A few minutes of exploring the app will give you the basics. After a week, you’ll be a pro. However, video tutorials are available for setup and beginners.
