Signatures are captured quickly by signing directly onto the iPad with a finger or capacitive stylus. Violations complete with references are a quick keyword search away. And when you’re done with your inspection, the report is completely filled out and ready to go - signatures and all.

With the tap of a button on your iPad, pQEI emails inspection reports in a pdf format to customers, maintenance companies, and whoever else you desire. You can even fax reports directly from the iPad.
Most AHJs accept electronic submissions or faxes.

We know that not all elevator inspectors have photographic memories and may need some reference or a calculator from time to time - so we built that stuff in. Answer the questions above and more with the reference section and strategically placed “quickref” boxes scattered throughout the program which automatically display the correct numbers based off of code requirements and the parameters of the elevator.
A17.2 checklists for traction and hydraulic elevators and escalators are built in as well. You also have the option of having a custom checklist where you define your own items.
One last thing - we built in charts to help you analyze your inspection data. Get a bird’s-eye view of how many inspections you’ve done in each month of the year, the maintenance company you work with most (and least), and run the numbers on the types of inspections you perform.
projectQEI is designed to be pretty intuitive. A few minutes of exploring the app will give you the basics. After a week, you’ll be a pro. However, video tutorials are available for setup and beginners.
