  1. 1.Are there any additional fees?

    Your monthly projectQEI fees include usage of the application, storage of your inspection data, access to training videos, and distribution of your inspection reports. The only limitation on distribution is 100 pages of faxes per month (most inspectors using pQEI don’t even use 1 page a month).

    Devices (such as iPads) are not included. Monthly data plans (3g, 4g LTE) for your devices are also not included.


  2. 2.What authority having jurisdictions do you support?

    At the present time, we support the following AHJ’s:

    We are adding more and more AHJ’s all the time! Let us know if your AHJ isn’t supported and we will move it to the top of the list. Normally, it doesn’t take long to add an AHJ, we just need a couple days to program the required report layout and check out any digital submission requirements with the AHJ.


  3. 3.What mobile devices does pQEI support?

    pQEI will run on the iPad 2 or the new iPad (iPad 3) and the iPhone 4. We recommend using the new iPad for day-to-day usage due to the screen size. The program layout is the same for all devices, but you can zoom in to interact with fields, checkboxes, and drop-down menus if you must use the iPhone.


  4. 4.What do I need to use pQEI on an iPad?

    pQEI is an internet application. For a device to be connected to pQEI, it must be connected to the internet. Most of our users use pQEI with the new iPad (iPad 3) and an LTE connection. pQEI will also work with a WiFi, 3g, and 4g connection. However, a new iPad (iPad 3) and an LTE connection is
    strongly recommended for best performance.

    To connect to pQEI on your iPad or iPhone, you will download a free app from the app store. There is a step-by-step 5 minute training video on how to set up your iPad/iPhone for the first time. Unless you plan on working strictly within a location with accessible WiFi, a data plan for your iPad is required. We find that 3 Gigs per month is sufficient and those LTE data plans are about $30/month with AT&T or Verizon (no contract).

    Also, an iPad case with a hand strap (like the
    Griffin Airstrap) is a must-have.


  5. 5.Can I access pQEI on a desktop computer?

    Absolutely. pQEI can be accessed from any internet-connected computer without the need for specialty software. All you need is a web browser. While the program will work with almost any browser, pQEI was made for Google’s Chrome web browser and Chrome is the only web browser supported by Liftstreet Media.

  6. 6.How are payments handled?

    All payments are made via major credit/debit card and are automatically charged at the 1st of the month. During the signup process, payment information will be collected and kept on file. A receipt will be emailed when transactions are processed.

    After the initial year, there are no long-term contracts. We operate on month-to-month basis after the first year.
